Warranty Registration
Kaadas Singapore Warranty Policy
At Kaadas Singapore, we are committed to providing high-quality products and reliable after-sales support. This warranty outlines the coverage, claim process and responsibilities of both Kaadas Singapore and our customers to ensure every warranty claim is handled fairly, consistently and efficiently.
1. Warranty Coverage
Unless otherwise stated, Kaadas digital locks distributed by Kaadas Singapore are covered by a 24-month limited warranty from the date of installation against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship.
The following products are covered by a 12-month limited warranty:
- Wooden Doors
- Metal Gates
This warranty includes repair or replacement of defective components where a manufacturing defect is confirmed by Kaadas Singapore.
Warranty coverage applies only to:
- Products purchased within Singapore.
- Products distributed by Kaadas Singapore or its authorised dealers.
- Products installed and serviced by Kaadas Singapore or technicians authorised by Kaadas Singapore.
2. Warranty Registration
To activate the warranty, customers are required to register their warranty through the Kaadas Singapore website within 7 days of installation.
Failure to register may affect the processing of warranty claims.
3. How to Make a Warranty Claim
To provide prompt and accurate support, all warranty claims follow our standard diagnostic process.
Step 1: Contact Us
Customers may contact Kaadas Singapore or the authorised dealer from whom the product was purchased.
Step 2: Remote Diagnosis
Customers may be requested to provide:
- Photographs
- Videos
- Serial numbers
- Proof of purchase
- Other relevant information
Our technical team will review the information to determine the nature of the reported issue.
Step 3: Troubleshooting
Where appropriate, our technical team may recommend troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue remotely.
Many issues, particularly those involving connectivity, settings, batteries or user operation, can be resolved without requiring an on-site technician.
Step 4: On-site Service
Where remote diagnosis indicates a possible manufacturing defect or the issue cannot reasonably be resolved remotely, an on-site technician will be arranged.
4. Immediate Technician Visit (Optional)
Customers who prefer an immediate on-site inspection without completing the standard remote diagnosis may request a technician visit.
Where accepted by Kaadas Singapore, a Technician Inspection Deposit of SGD120 may be required before the visit.
The deposit will be:
- Refunded in full if the technician confirms a manufacturing defect or hardware fault covered under this warranty.
- Retained if:
- No warranty-covered hardware defect is found;
- The issue relates to user operation;
- Wi-Fi or network configuration;
- Batteries or power supply;
- Environmental conditions;
- Third-party equipment;
- Installation conditions;
- Matters excluded under this warranty.
This deposit covers the technician's inspection, travel and diagnosis.
5. Customer Responsibilities
To enable efficient warranty support, customers are responsible for:
- Registering the product warranty;
- Providing proof of purchase upon request;
- Providing requested photographs or videos;
- Cooperating with reasonable troubleshooting instructions;
